Welcome

We are an inclusive community. Everyone is welcome.

Not sure what to expect if you go to church? Haven’t been for a long time, or never been at all? No worries! Here’s what you can expect at our church, and here are some some explanations of some of the Anglican lingo.

This parish of St Nicolas is an Anglican church in the broadly catholic tradition.  We gather around the table of the Word and the table of the Sacrament, valuing each with equal devotion. We read from the Bible, sing hymns, say prayers, share Holy Communion and learn from our priest. Our youth members get to explore their understanding of God in their own way too.

Join us for live-streamed services. or view ones you missed.

Our Mission

The mission of the Church is the mission of Christ:

  1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
  2. To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
  3. To respond to human need by loving service
  4. To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
  5. To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth
